PERSONAL CARICATURES
They are the ideal gift for a friend, or loved one. A personal caricature
is a unique gift to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or an achievement.
Each caricature is drawn by hand and is a one off original piece of art.
It's unique, no two are the same. You can have your caricature at
A4, or A3 size.
The vast majority of the caricatures I've produced over the years are
football related. So if it's a caricature of someone in your life you'd like
drawing in his favourite football strip, (modern, or vintage), then you've
come to the right place!
As you can see from the samples on this page, it's not just football
caricatures that I produce for customers. Whatever the subject, a
personal caricature can be produced for you.
The cost for a unique caricature really depends on what you want
going into the drawing.
For example: A single person on an A4 caricature, in his favourite
football strip would cost £50.00. This includes Next Day Delivery
postage, (after the caricature is completed). You can add items to this
caricature before the work starts, but this will add time to the job and
therefore will cost a little more.
However. If you wish to have five people in the caricature, or one
personal driving a car, with his pet dog in the passenger seat etc etc,
then prices vary, depending on your personal requirements.

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU!
When you have decided that you'd like a caricature, there are a few things that I need to enable me to produce your artwork for you.
1 - AT LEAST ONE EXCELLENT QUALITY FACE PHOTO OF THE PERSON TO BE DRAWN.
(This should be a close-up of the face, be in focus, sharp and clear. If it's not as above, then I will have to decline from producing the artwork. Bad photos add a lot of time to a job).
2 - A LIST OF EVERYTHING TO BE INCLUDED IN THE CARICATURE.
(If it's a football caricature I will need to know which kit you require from what era).
3 - A DATE FOR WHEN YOU REQUIRE THE CARICATURE TO BE DELIVERED TO YOU.
(This should be at least two weeks after all your photos are with me, but PLEASE REMEMBER that if you're caricature is needed for Christmas, you should order at AT LEAST one month before the big day.
4 - PAYMENT IN FULL.
(This is a one off, original piece of art. If you're photos are of the quality I require to complete the job, then the caricature is guaranteed to look like the person in question).

PLEASE DON'T...
...send photos of someone. Then tell me the photo you've sent doesn't look anything like the person you want drawing, even though it is him!
...send photo where you can't see anything of the person's face, because he's hiding!
...send photos where the person to be drawn is wearing black sunglasses, which completely hide his eyes and then ask me to remove them, when I have no clue what his eyes look like.
...ask me to draw a caricature of a friend in a football kit, but don't tell me what kit you want.
...send photos of a group of people in a nightclub, and the guy right at the back in the dark is the one you want drawing.
...ask me to draw someone in a West Ham kit (for example), then tell me after the job is completed that you meant to say Everton!
...ever say, "When you've done the drawing exactly as I've asked and it looks just like him, can I just decide I don't really want it?
(No you can't. That's why I ask for payment up front).
...send photos of someone clearly in their 60s, or 70s and ask me to draw them when they were in their teens. (send photos of when they were in their teens in that case).
...ask me why I charge what I charge, "because after all, it's just an A4 piece of paper!"
(It's not the paper you're paying for. It's my time and skill).
...ask me to draw someone in a situation that that person will find offensive.
...approach me with a business venture with the line, "When I get paid, you'll get paid." Because you're asking me to take 100% of the risk on your great idea. If it's such a great idea and you're sure it's a winner, pay me! You'll easily get it back, when you make your first million.
